Mobile Solar Consulting started the way a lot of good things do: with a rig that needed reliable power and a stubborn refusal to accept "good enough." Today we're a full-service shop offering solar and energy storage installation, maintenance, consulting, and equipment sales for the mobile and off-grid world.
Locally, we outfit vans, RVs, and trailers in our Stuart, FL shop. For everyone else, we do the part that's hardest to get right — the design. Our consulting packages deliver custom wiring diagrams and complete parts lists, backed by phone, video, and email support so you can build it yourself with confidence. And if you'd rather have it installed, we'll refer you to an installer we trust or, in some cases, travel to you.

Design first
Every system starts on paper. Wire sizes, fuse ratings, and exact connection points are worked out before a single part is ordered — so nothing gets improvised on install day.
Credentials that matter
Our system designer is a Victron Expert and ABYC Certified Electrical Technician with a B.S. in General Engineering from Cal Poly, SLO. We build to standards, not to what happens to fit.
Right the first time
Reliable power isn't a luxury when you live or travel off-grid. We use components we trust, install them the way we'd want them in our own rigs, and stand behind the work.
Teach, don't gatekeep
We'd rather you understand your system than depend on us. That's why we publish videos, run training events, and write diagrams you can actually read.
